I'm a real Christmas music fuddy-duddy--my favorite albums are Nat King 
Cole and Bing Crosby, and I need to track down a Burl Ives album as well.
I think my loathing for reinterpretations has something to do with the 
difficulty of finding traditional stuff--it seems to be buried in an 
avalanche of rock/rap/country/even wierder interpretations.

Of course, country is OK if it's "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer." :-)
