I see that, looks good. I was just too lazy to actually implement it when
I saw it.

That is what I remembered, but I don't know if there is a way of working
"outside the box," as it were. It would make more sense to me if
PHPWebSite shipped with sensible default groups that you could then modify
to taste rather than to leave you to construct your security structure
from scratch. (Particularly since the implications of some of them are
probably not obvious--how many ways are there to escalate privileges
because of poorly chosen security groups?) Mambo's way gets you off the
ground a lot quicker, but isn't as flexible, and I think PHPWebSite could
have won in both categories with a little more default configuration.

I'm starting to get the feeling that this sort of thing isn't isolated to
privileges. Mambo seems a bit more polished, unless it is just that it
shipped with better themes and an example site whereas PHPWebSite shipped
with an ugly (my opinion) theme and no example site. However, it also
seems to have a more rigid structure, albeit a good (and rather standard)
one. PHPWebSite seems to be more free-form. Anyone else getting that
impression?

Admittedly, I don't have a ton of data points yet....

Dustin
