I perhaps should have said, "the ONE package I've used SO FAR is
Movable Type" -- in other words, I only mentioned it out of familiarity,
you'll note I also said something to the effect of "I presume many
of the blog-management programs are suitable" (ok, exact quote
is "...and I'm sure many others will as well]")

True. I do see the greatest potential in managing and maintaining
the "coming next month..." entry (and effectively translating into
a "historical archive of meetings" as soon as the next one is posted)
I suppose the ability to maintain a "comment" discussion based on
an "entry" has it's plusses, can't recall offhand how well this
works in a "wiki" sense (especially if people who post "later" can
simply go in and "edit" the previous message to make their argument
stronger...)
Other than that, "linking in" and/or maintaining "diverse" content
will probably be harder with "blog" software than with "wiki" softare,
but that's why I posed the question to those that want to help maintain
"the site"...
