I'm running WindowMaker on Slackware 10.2, but I also have KDE installed. *I
installed ALL slackware-included WM's, which no longer includes Gnome as of
10.2*
I prefer WindowMaker personally. However, I do run some KDE apps within
WindowMaker w/ no problem, but I haven't tried K3B yet.
As far as writing a wrapper, I generally do that w/ most command-line
applications (that I use frequently) that require lengthy/repititious
commands/params.
Aside from that, I still prefer using Linux as a desktop, except for Audio
Production.
If Audio Software and Hardware Manufacturers started supporting Linux, the
desktop market-share and productivity capabilities would increase
TREMENDOUSLY!!
Unfortunatly, that won't happen. *Think, BeOS* =/
