[SGVLUG] Idea for -- proof of membership

Greetings,

Being a bit "old school" how about any of these for proof-of-membership:

1. Have everyone provide a self-picture (like in our high-school yearbooks)
1a. Have a "members" page on the web site that has the (picture+name) of
members.
1b. This opens the door for the site having a little space for each
member, and we could eventually have each member (picture+name) be a link
to their little piece of the site?

Then this URL can be given to any organization as proof. Say
"http:/sgvlug.org/members"

2. Provide the organization with a list of (name + email address) by our
"president"?

Of course, only those that submit/consent would be on the web site or the
list.
