Unfortunately, nvu has not had any updates since 2005 when 1.0 was 
released and the current version has a *lot* of bugs all over the place 
when it comes to editing the document.  I also see the same problems in 
thunderbird, so the core editing code probably hasn't been fixed yet either.

If you can deal with the quirks, go ahead but you have been warned.
