I doubt it--there are several other rebuilds that are definitely
commercial, and they get away with it, and CentOS supposedly meant
Community ENTerprise OS, which doesn't sound aimed at a mainly
commercial operation to me.

The point is that sending in the dogs isn't Our Way anyway. Until
proven otherwise I remain convinced that RH didn't act as it should
have.
That said, it wasn't a major issue, since we *do* all know the score. I
can live with it, if it doesn't become a major pattern.
