You can list your stuff with the LA County recycling/trading service at
http://www.ladpw.org/epd/lacomax/browse.cfm. More people should know
about this program.

> Well, my wife has finally convinced me to stop being a packrat and try
to
> find
> good homes for the computer parts that I am not currently using. Since
my
> choices are the great bit bucket in the sky or donating to fellow geeks,
I
> thought I would see if anyone is interested in anything on the following
list. All of these items are available for free. I hate dealing with eBay
> and would rather have the space back in my office than haggle over
price.
>
> If anyone is interested, I will bring it all to the meeting this
Thursday.
> If
> not, does anyone know when the next computer disposal event is
scheduled?
> in
> fact, does anyone know anyway. I have a dead monitor and printer that
need
> to be disposed.
>
> Hopefully someone will want these items so they avoid the landfill.
