[SGVLUG] Fw: Laptop computer - do you know anything about it?

I plan to buy an eepc myself. Its attractive to me due to being
completely designed from the ground up to have a long running batter
life etc. Its solid state which is attractive as well.
I spend a substantial amount of time every year on bus/train/plane and
having something like this would be a life saver.
So its certainly fully hackable and might be a halfway decent
replacement for a general purpose laptop.... but be aware its really
designed to conserve power. So sticking a lot of ram in it .... eh I
dunno what that will do. Maybe not much more power consumption but who
knows?
