Hi,

I just wanted to recommend this show to everyone
here... brings up some good questions about
liberties/freedom vs security issues w/re to IT.

watching it reminded me of Database Nation...

Data Mining w/o warrant is OK... (warrantless search),
others think it is not (want judges to approve.) to
preempt terrorist activity and attacks on US interests.

summary to the noid people.. cash.. pay by cash as much 
as possible...sleep in dumpsters... don't use taxi
cabs, avoid Lost Wages/"camera city".. what happens in vegas stays
on a gigantic super computer cluster f'n DVR someplace
in area 51.... unless you're taking a dump.. in which
you can see it on poo-tube ...
