[SGVLUG] New section of the website

I see a couple people have posted job offers to the list -- that's fine
so long as they aren't
overbearing/obnoxious/highly-repetitive/unrelated-to-Linux [i.e.
"spammy"] I've also received some "feedback" asking if there was a way
[other than the list, I presume] to let members know of job offerings.

Well, now there is -- I've added a "classified" section to the site,
mostly on a "trial" basis, and I'd like to know what you think.

As such, items that people want to post have to go through a VERY
effective "filter" before they appear: namely, myself ;) [and by
"filter" I'm talking about limiting how much/how fast, and how on-topic
the postings are -- given my usual level of procrastination, chances of
me actually posting an offering is pretty low to begin with ;) ]

To start, I've added 4 classifications: [well, two actually, with two
sub-classifications each]

   JOBS -- wanted / offered
   HARDWARE -- wanted / for-sale

If and when I post something, I'll keep the posting period reasonable [I
can pre-set the start/end dates of an "article", so that way I don't
have to remember to delete it when it gets "old"] For jobs /offered/,
I'll probably only keep the listing there for a month [unless there are
several positions and/or it appears the position will be constantly
open, like maybe intern work?] For those /seeking/ a job, I'll keep the
listing up for at least 3 to 6 months, unless you tell me (a) you got
hired, or (b) you /really/ want it around for longer [freelancer
perhaps?]

Would it make sense to create a "recruiter" section -- obviously, I
would have the power to limit recruiters to one ad at a time [i.e., ads
with no specific position attached to them -- the catch all, "send me
your resume and I'll file it..." type ad] Once populated, I don't
expect this section to change much [think of it more as a directory of
recruiters -- a useful resource for 'tech grads...]

If you're violently opposed to having us provide this resource to the
community, I'd certainly like to hear your reasons. (of course, the one
person who will carry the most weight on this will be Michael -- after
all, he's hosting the site, so we play by his rules...)
