As another whose Internet access is mostly text-only (but for privacy
reasons in my case), I fully sympathize with your concern here.
Posting to craigslist is just one more case of using on-line,
connection based security (https) where off-line, message based
security (pgp) could be used instead. Message based communication
simplifies access for people who cannot directly connect, or who
choose not to.
