[SGVLUG] Summertime conflicts...

Yes, it's that time of year again -- the Santa Monica Pier association
is hosting their annual "twilight dance series" of free concerts on the
pier on Thursday nights...

While it is an odd night for things like this (you'd think they'd go for
fridays), it does mean that the next two meetings may see a reduction of
our membership as people just may be partying on the pier -- after all,
who could resist the temptation to see the Afro-Rican band "Plene
Libre", or the opening act, "DJ Le Spam and the Spam Allstars" [no, I am
NOT making this up!]

So you have your choice for the July meeting: Solomon or Spam -- which
will it be?

The August meeting will be up against "Arrested Development" and the
"Agape International Choir" -- again, tough choice: Holy hip-hop or
cutting edge security... ;)
