Responsibilities:
Maintain a network of servers, providing scalable and secure web-based
applications on Linux.

- Server and Systems Administration, including maintenance and
troubleshooting
- Maintain networks including routers, load balancers, firewalls.
- Maintain System Security


Must be Fully Experienced with:
o Red Hat Linux (ability to install,configure and administer Linux on PC
hardware ranging 1U servers to multiple IBM blade centers)
o Software: Apache Web Server, qmail, MySQL, SSL, Samba,
o Firewalls: Linux IPtables and IPchains, TCPwrappers, packet filtering
o Encryption: ssh, pgp, SSL/TLS
o Intrusion detection and prevention: snort, tripwire
o Vulnerability and port scanners: nmap, nessus, dsniff, strobe
o Network protocol and packet monitoring: tcpdump, snoop, ethereal
o Common Networking hardware: Alteons, Switches, Routers
