[SGVLUG] debian and aptitude and adjusting sources.list

I wanted to install the eclipse package to my debian workstation.

So I did 'sudo aptitude install eclipse', which should have worked. But I
kept getting a prompt like: insert to /cdrom/ "Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 r0
_Etch_ - Official i386 NETINST Binary-1 20070407-11:29"

Did a little googling and searching, and finally realized that I needed to
edit my /etc/apt/sources.list and comment out the lines relating to
packages from cdrom.

The solution became:
robert at pip:/etc/apt$ cat sources.list
#
# deb cdrom:[Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 r0 _Etch_ - Official i386 NETINST
Binary-1 20070407-11:29]/ etch contrib main

#deb cdrom:[Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 r0 _Etch_ - Official i386 NETINST
Binary-1 20070407-11:29]/ etch contrib main

deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ etch main
deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ etch main

deb http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main contrib
deb-src http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main contrib
robert at pip:/etc/apt$

Just a FYI for fellow debian people.
