Here's what we'll need for the LUG BBQ, happening on 7/29, two weeks
from today:
A couple or three of those tents-without-sides ("pop-ups"?) - it's gonna
be hot, and we'll have to put some tables out in the yard
3-4 folding tables
A couple of dozen chairs or more, ideally the folding kind.
Hamburgers and buns for maybe 3 dozen people (4 dozen total?)
A couple of dozen hotdogs and buns for them (Polish? Kilbasa? Other?)
Salads - green, fruit, whatever
Chips & Dips - lots...
Desserts - (Gareth is bringing a 10th anniversary cake, I think, but
we'll need more)
Condiments & Salad Dressings - Orv
Utensils & Plates - Orv
Ice chests - I have two - we'll need at least a couple more
Ice enough for four coolers
Sodas - Pepsi/Coke/Sierra Mist/whatever - maybe two assorted cases
BYOB*
Other suggestions for food are welcome!
A thought - if anyone knows where we can borrow a relatively portable
mister, it might be helpful.
Start time is about 4 - grilling starts at 5:30; Map and other info are
up on http://sclug.org, under Event Calendar.
Please pass this info along to $LINUX_USERS_GROUP OR $COMPUTER_CLUB of
your choice; all comers are welcome!
Send info on what you're volunteering to bring directly to me -
orv at orvsplace.net; I'll post it up on the BBQ calendar entry at
sclug.org as soon as I get it, so we don't get too many duplicates.
Thanks!
Orv
