I'm surprised they removed the previous stable version before 2.6.x
had been successfully deployed. I sure wouldn't want to be the
consultant explaining to the customer that his phones won't be
available while you wait for working install scripts. Sounds like you
should have done a "feature freeze" and have all the software ready to
go before the equipment was ready.
What version of Asterisk does trixbox 2.6.x use? Is it still 1.4.x or
what? Looks like the latest stable version is 1.4.18 with 1.6.0 in
beta now.
Oh, found it on the features list - they are using CentOS 5.1,
Asterisk 1.4, FreePBX 2.3 and Web MeetMe 3.

I'm still trying to get the final version of FreePBX 2.4.0 working
with Asterisk 1.4.11 on the new fileserver at home. Some of my
asterisk scripts from the previous box don't work and I don't recall
what version of asterisk I was using before nor do I recall what
version I was using when I gave my demo just last Nov. Guess I might
as well bite the bullet and download the latest and see what else
breaks.
