imho City of Pasadena SUCKS w/regards to business.

It's not so much a question of profit/loss

the city want's licen$e$ for everything!!!
( even garage sales.. ) SO even if you break
even, it will cost you $$ to the city licensing!!!

the idea that you need a license to be a journalist/blogger/
practicing your 1st amendment rights is rather offensive.
( of course the city will say they are not.. when in
fact they are acting as a chilling effect.. any who
knows maybe even went after you if you stated something
bad about the city hall.. thus why anon free speech is
important!! )

1) I'd contact EFF and ACLU...
2) I would post the documents the city sent you online.
3) I would try to /. this (after of course
following the below... ;)

Use a different business address...
( hint the startup I work for originally
setup in NV... for obvious reasons.. )
