Subject: [SGVLUG] equipment to donate - old but reliable - DSL router and
laptop
Greets all,
I have two items to donate to any sgvlug member willing to come by and
pick them up. I live in San Gabriel.
Item 1:A linksys (4-port 10/100 switch + dsl router) combo that has
faithfully served me for about 8yrs.
Item 2: A Dell Inspiron pentium II (maybe III) laptop about the same age.
with 256Mb of Ram, and a modest hard drive size (maybe 2gb?).
Both are fully operational, but are free, so enjoy them 'as is'.
***
I recently switched jobs, and can telecommute, so upgraded the above
linksys to a Netgear RangeMax so I could do wireless with my work laptop;
so now the old laptop (which has M$ 2000 loaded on it) and previous DSL
switch/router are in need of (a) new home(s).
So, anyone interested in them having a new home in your home, just let me
know.
