I don't think so. It fails to adequately discuss the problems of
hardware that is either not supported by Linux or where the support is
incomplete so that the full functionality of the hardware is not
realized. Examples I've experienced are win-modems and printers. A
major problem is that hardware manufacturers are not required to
disclose their interface so that someone could write a Linux driver.
But even if such disclosure were required, hardware which hasn't many
users wouldn't get supported due to lack of volunteers to write the
Linux drivers.

It's a chicken and egg problem. If Linux desktop/laptop had a large
market share, then hardware makers would provide drivers for
everything, but to increase market share, Linux needs drivers.

This article tends to make one think that people are not being
rational when they give up on Linux. But for people who don't
understand much about computers, their behavior is quite rational.
I wish they would stay with Linux but they don't.

But Linux is being pushed by some governments (Cuba, China, etc.) and
the people who work with compters there often understand computers
better so they are able to cope with Linux. This is partly because
they have fewer computers.
