fyi -

looks like a deal to me :)

downside... looks like you need to have your
company do paperwork for you to get this,
and you need to be a w-2 near full time employee :(

Program eligibility requirements for employers and employees:
Employers must be either manufacturers or service companies that face out of state competition. Additionally, employers need to make a contribution towards their employees’ training. ETP gives employers the following options to meet this requirement:

a. paying trainees wages during training and/or
b. contributing equipment/supplies (books, computers)/space etc. for training and/or
c. contributing time to coordinate training. Saisoft assists employers to submit the required forms.

Employees must meet the following conditions:

    * Work full-time (at least 35 hours per week)
    * Be on regular company payroll with Federal and State taxes deducted (no contractors or consultants)
    * Must receive a W2 (Annual wage and tax report) from the company.
    * Pay rate at, or higher than, the stipulated minimum wage of $14.02/hour or $28,040 annually.
    * Complete the required hours for each course.
    * Trainees can take maximum of five courses at a time.

Not all companies may be eligible to benefit from the program. Check with us to see if your company qualifies. Employers may need to purchase text books and headsets for an optimal learning experience.
