Last yeat I attended a talk about AROS at SCaLE where was introducing AROS usoing my laptop in anon exactly great shape: from virtual machine and with no big caliber utilities; this year things got much better: just to let you know the actual situation:
- we have network and pointer control panels; 
- a media player (mplayer);
- working web browser; 
- USB 2 stack; 
- a port in progress of gallium3d and MESA; 
- a front end GUI for archives; 
- a port in progress of VNC;
- a native amiga syntax colored editor (annotate);
- a word processor (cinnamon writer);
- ports in progress of applications like VLC and Blender;

If i am lucky, even USB stick installation and boot should finally work, so  i might be able to show a working AROS and not the live CD...

In case anybody is interested I would like to know so i can bring updated material (gotta update brochures and slides from last SCALE).
