[SGVLUG] open source manufacturing

Anyone is interested in open source manufacturing?  I am thinking of  building a velomobile, basically a recumbent bicycle with 3 wheels and a full fairing.   It's diyable with the potential of converting to a human powered hybrid.

Looking at my assorted half finished projects and the avr breadboard that never advanced beyond blink the led stage, I realized that what I want to do is beyond what I can do on my own so if anyone is interested in manufacturing the open source way where we design with open source software, open source the design, and minimize parts from non-free countries,  please let me know. 

I am open to other projects as well.  I am located near Temple City and have some basic cnc equipment to get started.
