[SGVLUG] OT: Why aren't there more women in tech?

A relevant fact that I recently read.  
The Ubuntu User Survey reported results last week of over 15,000 participants.  

<4% women users.  Lower than I would have expected.

It is a fairly self-selected sample group, of course - (probably mostly OMG Ubuntu!
readers).
