[SGVLUG] Virtual Desktops for Windows - maybe tightVNC

While it is not an answer to the original question,
I second Robert's suggestion of tightvnc to others
needing a remote access solution. I've found it
extremely handy at work as a means of using a
linux desktop remotely.

There have been times I've used it because
its interactive response over a distant VPN
connection for X displayed java based GUIs
was superior to setting the $DISPLAY back to my
home systems X display. In my case this tended
to be remote Linux systems displayed on my local
system displayed on cygwin X.
