[SGVLUG] SGVLUG meeting Thu 1/9 @ Burger Continental **NEW LOCATION**

Hi all,

We are no longer meeting at Caltech, but there *is* a meeting this Thursday.  We will be meeting in the back room of Burger Continental.   Please note that while we are not being charged a rental fee for the room, they *are* expecting us to order food.  

There is no scheduled presenter.  Instead, we will be dealing with LUG business. We have been lucky to have been able to meet at Caltech for so long and getting by as a functional anarchy.  Now, we have to be more proactive in making sure that we continue meeting every month.  Please come if you care about the LUG and its future direction.

We will be discussing:

* Meeting room options
* Upcoming meetings
* Ways to promote: Meetup.com, Facebook, Twitter, etc

* SCaLE
 
Thanks to everyone for input on future meeting room options, and also to Richard for arranging the Burger Continental venue for this month.   We will see if it is a feasible meeting place given our meeting format.

LOCATION: Burger Continental - Back room.  
The address is 535 South Lake Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91101.    It is located on California and Lake in the same plaza as the Vons Pavilion.  There is parking in the back.  The Burger Continental back entrance is to the right of Vons.

PS John and Doug volunteered to bring projectors.  If you can't make it, please e-mail the list early, so we can see if anyone else can bring a projector.
