PCC has a rather involved procedure. This would be classified as a civic event.

Maybe you could find a computer science professor who could set something up on an informal basis because some students might be interested. There is a computer science club on campus that meets on Thursdays at noon and that would be a place to meet a professor. I can't go to that because I have a music class at that time.
You could go to the Pasadena.edu website, look up the computer science classes and find the professors who teach them and email them and ask if they have any suggestions.
Or maybe Carlyn Maw might have suggestions.

Also there is the Hastings Ranch library but there are some drawbacks, the room is small and you have traffic through the room from people using the bathroom. Both have wifi and projectors and the cost is cheep. The reservation signup will be in April/May for the new year starting in June. Has anyone contacted the Masonic Lodge?? Is thee a possibility of using space at PCC?? I see the Avery building is now vacant and up for lease. That's all I can think of at this time.

We can also try the Hastings Branch library, which is a little on the small side. But it is pretty late in their reservation cycle, so I don't know if they already have meetings scheduled for our Thursdays.
