  I'd be happy to do a very informal show-and-tell about a couple of
projects I've been doing, at the City of L.A. IT Agency, using the ESP8266
wifi chip on Adafruit's breakout board.  In each project, the wifi chip
talks to a BeagleBone Black via HTTP which, in turn, implements further
functionality.  The most recent (by only weeks, actually) sends phone text
and email notifications on a button-press.

  It's been fun work, and maybe someone else would be interested...
