[SGVLUG] Promote SCALE in your network

Hi all,

The Southern California Linux Expo <https://socallinuxexpo.org/> is  just 5
days away, and I learned that  50% of our registrations come in the last
week.

Remind your networks and communities that SCALE is right around the corner.

The registration price is pretty low for a 4-day conference, and we make it
even lower with our discount codes for our communities.  (Feel free to use
SGVLG)

Here's ways to amplify what SCALE is doing, aka get the social media
algorithms to promote our event

1) Use SCALE's  linkedin

friends
2) Upvote Ilan's post

on r/pasadena <https://reddit.com/r/pasadena>.  Comment on his post and
share what you're looking forward to.
3) Post on LinkedIn that you're coming out, or any of your favorite social
networks.  Talk about what you're looking forward to, or share a favorite
SCALE memory.
4) Tell your friends and colleagues about SCALE events that will benefit
them.  I've been pushing the Capture the Flag competition and Open Source
Career Day.
5) Reach out to anybody you're hoping to meet up with at SCALE and make
plans to meet
6)  If you're part of a tech group, post in their forums or on Meetup to
remind people that SCALE is next week.
